The Colorado Springs Christian Lions crushed the visiting Rye Thunderbolts baseball team by a count of 12-5 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dolores Huerta Prep for a non-league bout on Monday, April 24. Colorado Springs Christian will face a Scorpions team coming off a 0-0 non-league Evangel Christian Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Scorpions record now stands at 3-9.
