South Carolina High School Baseball - Travelers Rest nipped by Greenville
April 21, 2025: Travelers Rest, SC 29690 Greenville Red Raiders (Greenville, SC) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC), 5-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Greenville advances its record to 5-16 on the season. The Red Raiders host T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a 5A Region 1 match on Tuesday, April 22. The Yellow Jackets come into the match with a record of 15-5. T.L. Hanna won 10-2 in their recent league match against Easley (Easley, SC)
The Devildogs now have a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berea for a 4A Region 2 match on Tuesday, April 22. Travelers Rest will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-13.
