The Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) baseball trounced the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 14-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Homestead for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. Norwell will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Adams Central (Monroe, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 9-1.

With the defeat, Jay County drops to 2-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to Woodlan (Woodburn, IN) to clash with the Warriors in a Allen County challenge on Thursday, April 24.
