The Derry Trojans softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Highlands Golden Rams to 2 in the Trojans league win on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greensburg Salem for a WPIAL 4A 1 battle on Friday, April 25. Derry will encounter a Golden Lions team coming off a 19-1 league win over Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Highlands moves to 6-6 on the season. The Golden rams travel to Valley (New Kensington, PA) to encounter the Vikings in a WPIAL 4A 1 battle on Friday, April 25.
