In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Grimsley Whirlies lacrosse squad scored a good 10-2 triumph over the Southwest Guilford Cowboys.

The Whirlies (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates go into the Metro contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Page knocked off Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 10-5, in a league contest.
