In Thursday's league match, the host Midway/Minto Mustangs softball team scored a nice 16-3 win over the Northern Lights .

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Carrington (Carrington, ND). The Cardinals come into the Class B - Region 2 match with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the battle the Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 2. Northern Lights will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
