Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers (East Stroudsburg, PA), 13-4 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Stroudsburg for a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Thursday, April 27. Pocono Mountain East will battle a Mountaineers squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, East Stroudsburg South falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA) to battle the Bears in a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 8-8.
