The California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) baseball the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), 5-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Skyline for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 28. California will clash with a Titans team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Titans record now stands at 9-10.

With the defeat, Freedom drops to 10-8 on the year. The Falcons host Heritage (Brentwood, CA) to clash with the Patriots in a Bay Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Heritage won 19-4 in their recent league challenge against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA)
