In Friday's non-league game, the host South Central Falcons baseball team scored a close 15-9 victory over the Farmville Central Jaguars.

The Falcons (15-6) will now prepare for their game against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Rampants enter the Big East 3A/4A game with a 19-3 record. In their last game, J.H. Rose held off Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC), 10-0, in a league game.
