The crowd at Friday's league battle between the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) and the host The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), saw North Cross's baseball team get by The Covenant by a margin of 1-0.

The Raiders (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Bishops enter the VISAA Virginia Independent battle with a 10-5 record.

Next, the Eagles face the Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA) in a VISAA Virginia Independent battle, on Saturday, April 26. The Covenant will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Caissons enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 11-4 league win over Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA).
