In Friday's non-league game, the host Skutt Catholic SkyHawks baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the Omaha Central Eagles.

The SkyHawks (16-3) will now prepare for their game against South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, South Sioux City was overwhelmed by Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE), 8-1, in a non-league game.
