The Hoover Vikings baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Normandy Invaders to 3 in the Vikings non-league win on Saturday.

The Vikings now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Perry for a Federal test on Tuesday, April 29. Hoover will play a Panthers team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Copley (Copley, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 4-11.

With the defeat, Normandy drops to 3-9 on the year. The Invaders host Buckeye (Medina, OH) to play the Bucks in a Cleveland West test on Monday, April 28. The Bucks go into the test with a record of 8-4. Buckeye lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH)
