The New Prairie Cougars triumphed over the visiting Chesterton Trojans softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 26. New Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 17-1 league win over Merrillville (Merrillville, IN).
