The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN) and the visiting North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN), saw West Lafayette's baseball team get by North Montgomery by a tally of 10-9.

The Red Devils (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Benton Central (Oxford, IN). The Bison enter the Hoosier battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Benton Central held off Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN), 16-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chargin' Chargers face the Frankfort Hot Dogs (Frankfort, IN) in a Sagamore battle, on Tuesday, April 29. North Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Hot Dogs enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 5-3 league win over Danville (Danville, IN).
