Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) followers went home pleased Monday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting West Side Roughriders (Newark, NJ), 42-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Newark Central advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 4-2. DePaul Catholic won 24-0 in their recent league battle against Passaic (Passaic, NJ)
