Illinois High School Soccer - Joliet Catholic toppled by Benet Academy
April 28, 2025: Lisle, IL 60532 Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), 9-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Benet Academy advances its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Redwings travel to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 5-3. Downers Grove South 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)
The Hilltoppers now have a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Coal City for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. Joliet Catholic will clash with a Coalers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 9-4.
