New York High School Softball - Delaware Academy Afton

The Afton Knights overwhelmed the host Delaware Academy Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 14-9 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Unatego Spartans (Otego, NY) in a Section 4 Midstate I challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Afton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 9-2 league loss to Bainbridge-Guilford (Bainbridge, NY).

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Walton (Walton, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 4 Midstate I challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Walton was routed by South Kortright Central (South Kortright, NY), 19-18, in a non-league challenge.
