Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Shekinah Christian Flames (Plain City, OH), 22-20 in a non-league test.

With the win, Catholic Central upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Irish travel to Greeneview (Jamestown, OH) to battle the Rams in a Ohio Heritage South test on Monday, May 1. The Rams come into the test with a record of 16-2. Greeneview won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Dixie (New Lebanon, OH)

With the defeat, Shekinah Christian falls to 5-6 on the season. The Flames travel to Madison Christian (Groveport, OH) to battle the Eagles in a Mid Ohio Christian test on Monday, May 1. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 7-2. Madison Christian won 22-0 in their recent league test against Northside Christian (Westerville, OH)
