The Metro-East Lutheran Knights crushed the host Maplewood-Richmond Heights Blue Devils baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Breese Central for a non-league bout on Monday, May 1. Metro-East Lutheran will face a Cougars team coming off a 10-7 league loss to Columbia (Columbia, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 13-10.

Next, the Blue Devils face the Orchard Farm Eagles (St. Charles, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 29. Maplewood-Richmond Heights will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record.
