Virginia High School Lacrosse - Blue Ridge bounces The Covenant
April 29, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22902 The Blue Ridge Barons lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host The Covenant Eagles to 4 in the Barons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Barons now hold a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Cross for a VISAA Division 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 30. Blue Ridge will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, The Covenant falls to 7-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to clash with the Gryphons in a VISAA Division 3 challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Gryphons go into the challenge with a record of 2-7. New Covenant lost 10-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Rockingham (Weyers Cave, VA)
