The Fort Morgan Mustangs baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Resurrection Christian Cougars to 5 in the Mustangs league win on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty Common for a 4A/3A/2A Patriot test on Friday, May 2. Fort Morgan will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Peak to Peak (Lafayette, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 7-10.

With the defeat, Resurrection Christian drops to 12-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Berthoud (Berthoud, CO) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, May 2. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 8-9. Berthoud won 12-1 in their recent league test against Greeley Central (Greeley, CO)
