The Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) baseball trounced the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME), 13-3 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oxford Hills for a Class A North challenge on Friday, May 2. Mt. Ararat will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Skowhegan drops to 1-2 on the year. The River hawks host Brewer (Brewer, ME) to clash with the Witches in a Class A North challenge on Friday, May 2. The Witches go into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Brewer won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME)
