The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Sotomayor WILDCATS (San Antonio, TX) and the host Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), saw Sotomayor's baseball team gain a win over Taft by a tally of 5-1.

The WILDCATS (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Warren (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors enter the 6A Region IV District 27 battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Warren held off East Central (San Antonio, TX), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Raiders face the Harlan Hawks (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 10-11 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to United South (Laredo, TX).
