In Saturday's non-league game, the host Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts baseball team scored a nice 12-3 victory over the Leo Lions.

The Grey Ghosts (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints enter the Illini Prairie game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Bloomington Central Catholic was overwhelmed by St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL), 14-2, in a league game.

Next, the Lions face the Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 7. Leo will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Crusaders enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 12-6 non-league win over St. Xavier (Louisville, KY).
