The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA) and the host San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA), saw St. Joseph's baseball team gain a win over San Marcos by a tally of 7-3.

The Knights (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Arroyo Grande (Arroyo Grande, CA). The Eagles enter the CCAA - Mountain battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Arroyo Grande held off Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA), 6-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Royals face the Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) in a Channel battle, on Tuesday, April 8. San Marcos will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Tritons enter the battle with a 13-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Ventura (Ventura, CA).
