New York High School Lacrosse - Yorktown overwhelms Shaker
April 5, 2025: Latham, NY 12110 The Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY) lacrosse routed the host Shaker Bison (Latham, NY), 16-8 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Huskers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Jay for a Section I -C outing on Tuesday, April 8. Yorktown will face a Wolves squad coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Manhasset (Manhasset, NY). The Wolves record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Shaker falls to 2-1 on the year. The Bison host Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY) to face the Blue Streaks in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue outing on Monday, April 7. The Blue Streaks go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Saratoga Springs won 13-11 in their recent non-league outing against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY)
