The Barbe Buccaneers softball squad (Lake Charles, LA), was routed 13-8 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA)

With the triumph, Alexandria improves its record to 23-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to face the Rebels in a 5A District 2 contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Rebels enter the contest with a record of 12-15. West Monroe lost 12-2 in their recent non-league contest against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA)

The Buccaneers now hold a 12-14 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Charles College Prep for a non-league contest on Monday, April 7.
