Virginia High School Lacrosse - Nansemond-Suffolk Academy bounces Saint Gertrude
April 8, 2025: Richmond, VA 23238 The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints lacrosse squad scored 21 points and limited the host Saint Gertrude Gators to 4 in the Saints non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Saints now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catholic for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 18-6 league loss to Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Saint Gertrude falls to 0-8 on the year. The Gators host Highland (Warrenton, VA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Highland lost 17-13 in their recent league challenge against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA)
