The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) and the host West Warriors (Torrance, CA), saw South Hills's baseball team gain a win over West by a tally of 4-2.

The Huskies (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Conquerors enter the Hacienda battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Los Altos by South Hills (West Covina, CA), 4-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Warriors face the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a Bay battle, on Wednesday, April 16. West will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Sea Hawks enter the battle with a 9-10 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Culver City (Culver City, CA).
