In Wednesday's league match, the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC), by a count of 15-10.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River match, on Thursday, April 10. Weddington will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Mavericks enter the match with a 10-2 record after their 14-13 league win over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
