The Ashe County Huskies soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Freedom Patriots to 2 in the Huskies league victory on Wednesday.

The Huskies now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host South Caldwell for a Northwestern 3A/4A bout on Friday, April 11. Ashe County will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.
