North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Grimsley overwhelms Western Guilford

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Grimsley Whirlies lacrosse squad scored a good 16-5 triumph over the Western Guilford Hornets.

The Whirlies (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Terry Sanford was overwhelmed by Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 18-7, in a league contest.

Next, the Hornets meet the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro contest, on Tuesday, April 22. Western Guilford will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 17-7 league loss to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
