Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rolesville Rams (Rolesville, NC), 16-6 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wakefield for a Northern Athletic 4A challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Heritage will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Rolesville falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Millbrook (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Northern Athletic 4A challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-11. Millbrook lost 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC)
