The Minneapolis South Tigers (Minneapolis, MN) baseball trounced the visiting St. Paul Central Minutemen (St. Paul, MN), 12-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Washburn for a Minneapolis City challenge on Monday, May 5. Minneapolis South will clash with a Millers team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Richfield (Richfield, MN). The Millers record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, St. Paul Central drops to 1-6 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Fridley (Fridley, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 1-5.
