May 1, 2025: New Providence, NJ 07924 The New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) lacrosse routed the visiting Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ), 14-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Pioneers now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league outing on Monday, May 5. New Providence will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 17-3 non-league win over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Union Catholic falls to 5-6 on the year. The Vikings host East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ) to face the Bears in a non-league outing on Monday, May 5.
