The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN) and the visiting Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN), observed Benton Central's softball team notch a victory over Lafayette Central Catholic by a final score of 12-2.

The Bison (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN). The Red Devils go into the Hoosier bout with a 9-6 record. In their last bout, West Lafayette gained a win over Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN), 12-2, in a non-league bout.
