The Alton Redbirds volleyball squad (Alton, IL), was edged 2-1 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL)

With the win, Father McGivney Catholic improves its record to 11-14 on the season. The Griffins travel to Collinsville (Collinsville, IL) to encounter the Kahoks in a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 21. The Kahoks go into the battle with a record of 10-14.
