The Caston Comets softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Marion Giants to 7 in the Comets non-league win on Monday.

The Comets now possess a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winamac for a Hoosier North battle on Tuesday, May 13. Caston will battle a Warriors team coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 14-4.

In their next game, the Giants battle the Fort Wayne North Side Legends (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 14. Marion will attempt to advance on its 5-14 season record.
