Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Thornton Fractional South upgrades its record to 19-13 on the season. The Red Wolves travel to Bremen (Midlothian, IL) to battle the Braves in a South Suburban - Blue test on Monday, May 15. The Braves come into the test with a record of 12-14. Bremen lost 8-1 in their recent league test against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL)

With the defeat, Joliet Central falls to 9-21 on the season. The Steelmen travel to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a Southwest Prairie test on Monday, May 15. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 25-7. Plainfield Central lost 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL)
