In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL), by a tally of 7-0.

Next up, the Grey Ghosts encounter the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. Illinois Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 19-10 season record. The Redbirds enter the bout with a 10-16 record after their 3-2 league loss to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL).
