Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), 7-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Huntington advances its record to 12-8 on the season. The Huntsmen travel to Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH) to battle the Bearcats in a Scioto Valley match on Saturday, May 17. The Bearcats come into the match with a record of 3-14. Paint Valley won 11-1 in their recent non-league match against River Valley (Bidwell, OH)

The Indians now have a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clay for a non-league match on Thursday, May 15. Valley will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 12-7.
