In Thursday's non-league game, the host Chippewa Chipps baseball team scored a close 4-2 win over the Central Christian Comets.

The Chipps (15-7) will now prepare for their game against Mogadore (Mogadore, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 3-12 record. In their last game, Mogadore by John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH), 11-1, in a league game.
