In Friday's non-league bout, the Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN), by a tally of 14-5.

Next up, the Wolves encounter the Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) in a Duneland bout, on Tuesday, May 20. Michigan City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 21-4 record after their 21-1 non-league win over Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN).

The Wolves (8-15) will now prepare for their bout against Hammond Baptist (Schererville, IN). The Swordsmen enter the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Hammond Baptist achieved victory over East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN), 6-0, in a non-league bout.
