The St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) baseball got by the visiting Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY), 2-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute for a Monsignor Martin challenge on Monday, May 19. St. Mary's will clash with a Marauders team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to McDowell (Erie, PA). The Marauders record now stands at 7-11.

With the defeat, Nichols drops to 12-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Monsignor Martin challenge on Monday, May 19. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Bishop Timon-St. Jude lost 4-1 in their recent league challenge against St. Francis (Hamburg, NY)
