South Carolina High School Soccer - Emerald held off by Travelers Rest
May 2, 2024: Greenwood, SC 29646 The Travelers Rest Devildogs held off the host Emerald Vikings soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Devildogs now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Powdersville for a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. Travelers Rest will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Walhalla (Walhalla, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 16-5.
With the loss, Emerald drops to 13-4 on the season.
