Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 20-9 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Curwensville advances its record to 6-9 on the season. The Golden Tide host Glendale (Flinton, PA) to battle the Vikings in a Inter-County - North match on Monday, May 5. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 1-14. Glendale lost 13-3 in their recent league match against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA)

The Stingers now have a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homer-Center for a Heritage match on Tuesday, May 6. Marion Center will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-4.
