May 2, 2025: Crozet, VA 22932 In Friday's non-league contest, the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) soccer team edged the visiting Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Warriors battle the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Monday, May 5. Western Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Fighting Hornets enter the contest with a 4-8 record after their 5-1 league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
The Hilltoppers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees enter the Seminole contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Brookville held off Liberty (Bedford, VA), 4-1, in a league contest.
