In Friday's non-league test, the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) softball squad got by the visiting East Noble Knights (Kendallville, IN), by a tally of 11-10.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Churubusco Eagles (Churubusco, IN) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 5. Homestead will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to Eastside (Butler, IN).

The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Wawasee (Syracuse, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Wawasee was nudged by Plymouth (Plymouth, IN), 18-5, in a league test.
