The Piketon Redstreaks triumphed over the visiting Eastern Warriors softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league match.

The Redstreaks (22-4) will now prepare for their match against Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH). The Pioneers go into the non-league match with a 9-17 record. In their last match, Zane Trace gained a win over Ironton (Ironton, OH), 4-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH) in a Southern Hills Athletic match, on Thursday, May 22. Eastern will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record.
