In Wednesday's league test, the Edgewood Mustangs (Ellettsville, IN) softball squad the host Indian Creek Braves (Trafalgar, IN), by a tally of 6-3.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the West Vigo Vikings (West Terre Haute, IN) in a Western Indiana test, on Thursday, May 22. Edgewood will attempt to advance on its 16-5 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 20-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN).

The Braves (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Northview (Brazil, IN). The Knights go into the Western Indiana test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Northview held off Brown County (Nashville, IN), 6-1, in a league test.
